Good Day Gardening: Week 11
This week Darby Creek Nursery joins us at the Good Day Garden as we continue to pulling weeds and finding bugs on the tomato plants.
We used Sevin to take care of the bugs because they will be sucking the nutrients from the foliage.
The geese completely cleared out the bed with broccoli, lettuce, and cabbage.
They also may have started to eat some of the cucumber plants.
The tomatoes in the pots are looking a little stressed because lack of water and nutrients.
Potted plants need extra fertilizer and water.
Other than these small issues, the garden is doing very well.
Temperatures are expected to be very hot late this weekend and next week and the peppers will love that.
The soil is still pretty damp about an inch down but watering will be necessary with the dry pattern ahead.
