Cinco de Mayo favorites

Shawn, Marshall, Jessica & Adam shared their favorite Cinco de Mayo recipes on the air. You can make them at home!

Shawn's Skinny Margaritas:

• 1 1/2 oz-Good quality, Clear Tequila

• 1/2 oz-Triple Sec

• 1/2 fresh squeezed sm/medium lime

• 1/2 can diet citrus soda (I use Diet Mist Twist)

• Crushed or cubed ice

Add ingredients to a glass, stir, add ice and drink! It’s only 160 calories!

Marshall’s Guacamole

• Avocado

• Diced chilies

• Garlic

• Red onion

• Cilantro

• Lime juice

• Coarse-ground salt

Use a potato masher to mash the avocadoes with the lime juice.
Add the finely-chopped onions, cilantro, garlic, and chilies.
Stir to combine.
Salt to taste.

Jessica's "Red Sombrero":

• Tequila

• 7-up or Sprite

• Pomegranate juice

• Lemon

Adam's Chips & Salsa

• Bag of tortilla chips

• Jar of salsa
