Contractor helps woman burned by 'Hall of Lame' inductee

A central Ohio contractor stepped in to help a woman defrauded out of $2,700 for a never completed renovation project.

Tommy Miller, owner of TM Construction remodeled Dona Smith's bathroom after the single mom after she paid another contractor to do it last April. Smith said Dennis Everhart gutted everything, but never replaced anything.

Miller's company did the work free of charge. Home Depot in Marysville donated some of the fixtures, and discounted the materials.

Everhart has been featured in the 'Hall of Lame' previously when customers lost thousands of dollars on the suggestion of home warranty companies.
