Online dating isn't just for humans anymore.

On Thursday, a hippo named Timothy, from the San Antonio Zoo, took to Twitter to ask popular Cincinnati Zoo hippo Fiona to be his girlfriend.

He even went as far as to reference popular dating app, Tinder, when he said:

#HippoSwipeRight

Timothy said that Fiona is "the most beautiful hippo I have ever seen! Perhaps we can meet someday and be boyfriend and girlfriend." He also added that he was single.

Fiona and her team at the Cincinnati Zoo didn't respond right away. They let a day go by before tweeting the San Antonio Zoo back.

They said Fiona thinks Timothy is cute, but his DNA will determine if he's the one for Fiona.

Fiona was born prematurely in 2017 and has made national headlines.

She's starred in children's books and has inspired the mothers of premature babies across the country.

The fan-favorite hippo celebrated her first birthday in January.
