Caught on video: Pickup crashes into Ohio fire truck responding to emergency

MIDDLETOWN, Ohio (WSYX/WTTE) -- A fire crew was en route to an incident when they unexpectedly were involved in one of their own.

Freighters with the Middletown Fire Department were on their way to an overdose call when driver started to make a u-turn, WHIO reports. As they were doing that, a driver in a pickup truck tried to pass them on the left and clipped the side of the fire truck.

The front of the truck was damaged, but the vehicle remained in service.

It was initially unknown if any firefighters or the truck's driver were injured.
