Chase Bank online system running after nationwide outage

Many Chase Bank customers found they couldn't access their accounts online or on the app after a nationwide system outage Thursday (MGN Online)

Chase Bank customers weren't able to access their accounts Thursday afternoon, after a system outage that lasted over three hours.

A Chase Bank employee at a Columbus, Ohio branch confirmed there was a nationwide online outage, and the company was working on the problem.

Customers attempting to login on the website got an error message. Using the mobile app showed an "N/A" for account balances, prompting a lot of questions, concerns, and of course jokes online.

Chase has not said what's behind the outage.
