COTA to offer expanded service for Red, White & BOOM!
COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX/WTTE) -- The Central Ohio Transit Authority has released details of its expanded service for riders looking to attend Monday's Red, White, & BOOM! fireworks show.
Express service to Downtown from select Park & Ride locations will begin at 5:30 p,m, until 8:30 p,m,, while an improved frequency before the fireworks traveling downtown on most local service until 9 p.m.
Buses from designated Red, White & BOOM! boarding zones will be depart at 10:45 p.m., 11:30 p.m., and midnight Zones will be posted in downtown High Street bus shelters. COTA employees will also be wearing "We move people. People move us." t-shirts.
COTA riders can attend Ballpark BOOM at Huntington Park for free by showing a valid COTA Park & Ride wristband, valid COTA pass, valid Buck ID or CCAD ID.
COTA's customer service center will have extended hours from 6 a.m. to midnight to assist riders with transportation needs at 614-228-1776.
