VIDEO: UPS driver tosses package, south Columbus family blames him for damages
COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX/WTTE) —
A south Columbus family is upset after watching video of what they claim is a UPS delivery man throwing their package.
The family said a record player that was inside the package was scratched up and cracked. They said it was supposed to be a Christmas gift for someone.
The video that was captured shows a delivery driver running to a house, dropping the package down and running back to his truck. The family said it's not the first problem they've had issues with packages delivered to their home.
"A month-and-a-half ago my son bought a guitar tuner and when it was delivered here, it was broke and tore up," said Odust Kamer, who filed a complaint with UPS.
He was told he'd hear back from the company, but said he hasn't heard back yet.
A UPS representative said complaints that are filed are responded to by an investigation team a day after the complaint is filed.
