It was a busy morning in a Delaware subdivision after dozens of federal agents descended upon a home Tuesday.

The law enforcement agents showed up around 7:30 a.m. Agents came from the U.S. Army and were serving search warrants at the home of a former Delaware County commissioner, Todd Hanks.

Hanks resigned his seat in 2010, around the same time he was convicted of a misdemeanor conflict of interest charge for steering contracts to a company he was working for. He was originally sentenced to 90 days in jail, but that was suspended.

As Tuesday afternoon, it didn't appear that anyone was arrested. Officials are not commenting on the details of the investigation.

Hanks now operates a company that procures items for the U.S. government, selling government supplies.

The agents were seen carrying boxes out of the home shortly after noon.

ABC 6/FOX 28 will continue to follow this developing story.
