New Albany Teen Using 3D Printing to Create Prosthetics

NEW ALBANY (Tara Morgan)-- A sophomore at New Albany high school will soon be able to use 3D printing technology he used in school at home to help kids just like him.{}16 year old Aaron Westbrook was born without a right hand.{}When his school got a 3D printing lab through a grant he used the technology to make a prosthetic for himself and then had the idea that he could do the same for others.{}"I really want to take what I've learned and apply it and help take it out into the world and help other people," said Westbrook.{}Westbrook started a Kickstarter campaign and in just over a month's time raised the $2400 needed for a 3D printer and supplies.
