A 29-year-old from Logan, Ohio was killed Saturday after the motorcycle he was riding crashed into a City of Lancaster sanitation truck.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol said Brandon Ogg was knocked off his motorcycle after hitting the truck, driven by 44-year-old Chad Reedy. Reedy was turning left when investigators say Ogg crossed a double yellow line and tried to pass the truck in the turn.

Ogg was thrown from his motorcycle after hitting the left side of the city truck. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
