CIRCLEVILLE, Ohio (WSYX/WTTE) -- A suspected drug dealer was arrested in Pickaway County on Tuesday.

The Pickaway County Sheriff's Office said deputies and officers from the South Bloomfield Police Department apprehended Johnny R. Wellman, a 32-year-old from Columbus, after they identified him as a passenger in a vehicle while being wanted for a felony warrant.

During the arrest, officials said they found over 1,300 30mg Oxycodone pills, a stolen firearm, $400 and other suspected narcotics that will be tested at a later date. As a result Wellman was also charged with aggravated drug trafficking, possession of drugs, receiving stolen property, and having a weapon while under disability.

The driver of the black Ford Fusion he was in, 32-year-old Stephanie R. Palmer of Obetz, was charged with complicity to trafficking drugs, the sheriff's office said.

Both were taken to the Pickaway County Jail.

The case remains under investigation.
