Students walk out of Upper Arlington High School in protest of gun violence
Students at Upper Arlington High School walked out Wednesday afternoon in protest of gun violence.
The walk out comes after the events in Parkland, Florida where a gunman killed 17 people.
UA students wanted to show solidarity with their fellow students in Florida. A couple hundred students were seen standing in the rain.
The event was organized by a few juniors and was spread using social media over the weekend.
Members of the administration supported their efforts and provided a safe place to gather.
