Clif Bar recalls products due to possible presence of undeclared nuts
The Federal Drug Administration said Clif Bar has recalled three of its products over a possible concern for those with nut allergies.
The agency said Clif Bar got complaints of allergic reactions to tree nuts and peanuts on items that weren't supposed to have them. There have bee no confirmed illnesses so far, the FDA said.
The recalled items are:
- Builder's Bar, chocolate mint flavor
- Clif Kid Z-Bar Protein, chocolate mint flavor
- Clif Kid Z-Bar Protein, chocolate chip flavor
Consumers can get a full refund by returning those products, including snack sizes and variety packs to the stores where they were purchased.
