Hunt's chili kits recalled due to potential presence of Salmonella

Conagra Brands has recalled their Hunt's Chili Kits due to the potential presence of Salmonella in the spice packets.

According to the FDA, the chili seasoning used in the packet originated from a supplier who informed the company of the potential presence of Salmonella in a raw material used in the seasoning. Conagra Brands said no Salmonella was found in the finished product. The recall was issued out of an abundance of caution.

The FDA said there were no reports of adverse reactions or injuries.

Consumers who purchased the item were advised to not consume it and return it the store where originally purchased.
