Central Ohio is set to go dark Monday afternoon for the solar eclipse.

The celestial event is set to last from 1 - 4 p.m. with a peak time at 2:30 p.m. Doctors warn not to look directly at the sun because it can burn and damage your eyes.

ABC 6 / FOX 28 Meteorologists are forecasting a partly cloudy afternoon.

COSI is set to hold events and distribute solar eclipse viewing glasses at various branches of the Columbus library, Columbus Metro Parks locations, Easton, as well as at the downtown COSI location.
