Beyond the Game: Jason and Ellie Day give back with Brighter Days Foundation
DUBLIN -- The Brighter Days Foundation provides funding and resources to central Ohio organizations that work to end child hunger, provides necessities to families in need and gives hope to those who seem to have none.
"We have a platform to assist people and improve life for some in Central Ohio," Day told ABC-6.
Founded by PGA TOUR player Jason Day and his wife Ellie, Brighter Days Foundation partners with local nonprofit organizations that deliver high quality programs and services with measurable, impactful results, ensuring that every dollar raised goes back into the local community.
The two-day event teed off with a Sunday evening party at the Africa Events Center. Monday's celebrity golf tournament at Double Eagle Club includes Day, Chase Bailey, Bret Bair, Bruce Bowen, Kevin Chapman, Henry Cho, Eric Close, Colt Ford, Ron Harper, Ryan Longwell, John C. McGinley, Dave Mlicki, Jake Owen, Michael Redd, Ryan Ruffels, Jody Shelley, Kevin Sorbo, Paige Spiranac, Michael Symon, Shane Victorino, Blaine Wilson, James Wisniewski and more.
