HUBER HEIGHTS -- Former Buckeye quarterback and current NFL receiver Braxton Miller provided young football wannabees someone to look up to Saturday.

He passed along practical football skills and more during his CHARG1NG 1Way Youth Football Camp at Wayne High School’s Heidkamp Stadium.

“It always meant a lot when guys would come back to Ohio,” Miller said. “That made the camp a no brainer for me. 937 is my home. All we had was sports and I wanted someone I looked up to throw a camp for us but I didn't have anything like this. I just want to give back and let the kids see the light that I'm seeing right now. "

Miller was a five-star recruit at Wayne and led the Warriors to the Division I state championship game in 2010, his senior year.

He went on to star at Ohio State, spending three seasons as the Buckeyes’ quarterback and another at receiver.

He accounted for 88 touchdowns for the Scarlet and Gray and was twice named the Chicago Tribune Silver Football winner as the Big Ten’s most valuable player.
