Blue Jackets: Brandon Dubinsky calls linemate a linebacker

COLUMBUS -- The Columbus Blue Jackets completed a season sweep of the rival Detroit Red Wings Saturday night with a 2-1 win at Nationwide Arena.

The team's number two line of Brandon Dubinsky, Boone Jenner and goal-hungry Cam Atkinson have been very productive of late, 14 points in their last five games.

"Boone has been a beast lately," assistant captain Dubinsky said of Jenner. "He's like a linebacker out there. When he plays like that he creates turnovers and room. for us"

The Jackets notched their 35th win over the weekend and stand nine points behind Metro division-leading Washington as they welcome the New York Rangers to Nationwide Monday night.

The CBJ have five games left in the current homestand, a key stretch for the team.
