HS Hockey: Olentangy Liberty keeps it tight for 2 periods in state semifinal loss

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX/WTTE) -- Olentangy Liberty was in the mix for central Ohio's first state hockey tournament win, only for the Patriots to run out of gas in the third period.

The Pats loss to Toledo St. Francis 8-2 after allowing a five goals in the third period. The game was tied at two with less than a minute left in the second period.

It was the Patriots third state semifinal appearance (2011, 2013, 2017).

St. Francis will face St. Ignatius in the state championship game at Nationwide Arena on Sunday.
