The Football Fever: Fada, Smith sign free agent deals
COLUMBUS -- Linebacker Craig Fada and receiver Corey Smith are the latest Buckeyes to sign undrafted free agent deals.
Fada bound for the Houston Texans where he was a connection with former Buckeye assistant coach Mike Vrabel, the Texans linebackers coach and a former three-time Super Bowl champ.
Fada, a Bishop Watterson, grad walked on at Ohio State before earning a scholarship his senor year.
Smith was beset by injury problems at Ohio State after a short junior college stinct. He is headed to mini-camp with Cincinnati Bengals.
