COLUMBUS -- A very entertaining college football release Sunday as USA Today ranked the top ten teams combining its football product and educational prowess.

Ohio State led the way with Wisconsin also placing in the top ten.

Here's an excerpt from the authors on the greatness of Ohio State.

1. Ohio State University

Ohio State’s Buckeyes are widely recognized as one of the best college football teams in the land. Over the years, they’ve won eight national championships and 37 conference titles.

Ohio State’s head coach Urban Meyer was a legend before he came to Ohio State after winning two BCS championships with Florida. He is the only college coach to have three win streaks of over 20 games. During the spring, he holds “Real Life Wednesdays” – events featuring CEOs, alumni, and leaders from the business community – for his players.

In addition to having a tremendous football team, Ohio State offers a great education to students at a reasonable price. The school has an average graduation rate of over 80% which puts it well above the U.S. average. Some of the most popular majors are psychology, communications, and finance.
