The Football Fever: Pickerington trio go from rec league to the NFL
PICKERINGTON -- Friends who played rec league ball then went on to college stardom, Pat Elflein, Jake Butt and Taco Charlton have all realized their NFL dreams.
Efllein starred at Ohio State where he won the Rimington Trophy as the nation's top center. Butt was Elflein's high school teammate at Pickerington North before becoming a premier tight end at Michigan. Taco Charlton was Butt's teammate at Michigan and became a force on the Wolverines defensive line.
They're all going in different directions but they all remember where it started.
