They're the new it thing for people looking for a quick snack on the go, but are they good for you?

Melanie Ash from Fitness Evolution stopped by to discuss energy balls.

No Bake Energy Balls

1 cup old-fashioned oats
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/2 cup ground flax seed
1/2 cup chocolate chips (semi-sweet)
1/3 cup honey
1 tablespoon chia seeds (optional)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Combine oats, peanut butter, ground flax seed, chocolate chips, honey, chia seeds, and vanilla extract together in a bowl. Cover and chill in the refrigerator 30 minutes.
Remove from refrigerator; roll into balls, about 1 inch in diameter
