COLUMBUS, Ohio — Boy has it been wet! The weeds in the garden have been going crazy at our Good Day Garden.
Jeff Turnbull, the owner of Darby Creek Nursery, said to get the weeding done now because they will be draining the moisture from your plants.
The ground should be plenty wet enough that no watering is necessary for several days.
If you can stick your finger an inch to 2 inches into the ground and it is dry then that’s when you can start watering, but that will be a while after all of the rain we’ve received lately.
Garden is starting to produce some vegetables, but still need more time to ripen.
