Treatment for pets with cancer

COLUMBUS — Dr. Eric Green and Dr. Noopur Desai from the Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine came by to discuss how their integrated oncology service is used to help pets with cancer. They use radiation oncology on dogs, cats, horses and even farm animals. They are able to target specific parts of the tumors, and leave the surround tissues. The sophisticated equipment allow them to deliver accurate treatments while limiting side effects.
