Dirty Dining: Groveport Mexican restaurant back in the hot seat

For the second time this year, Los Mariachis in Groveport is fighting to stay open.

On March 14, the Mexican restaurant goes before the Franklin County Board of Health. Due to repeated critical violations, the health department recommends the board either suspend or revoke the restaurant's license.

In January, the board suspended the restaurant's license for six days because of pattern of repeated critical violations, like workers handling food with bare hands, foods not properly cooled or covered, and temperature and contamination concerns.

This week's Clean Plate Award goes to Rusty's Wharf Fish and Chips in Pataskala.
