Local Companies Help Woman Stiffed By Contractor
ABC Investigator Tom Sussi recently tossed contractor Randall Hooks, R&R Hauling and Handyman Service, into The Hall of Lame. Hooks is accused of pocketing $800 for a 12 x 12 concrete patio slab he didn't pour.
The customer, 67-year-old Carol Powell, said it took months and months to save up that money, and she couldn't afford to hire another contractor to do the work.
Update: Anderson Concrete supplied the material, and Tony Marchi did the work. All at no cost to Powell.
