24-year-old bowler now plays full-time and might be youngest professional in Columbus

They told him he'd never be good enough to bowl full-time.

But Zeke Bayt didn't believe it; in fact, he used that negativity and turned it into a positive.

"People kept telling me, 'I cannot do this, I cannot do this,' and I'm, like, 'Watch, I'm gonna do this," he said. "So, that is my fire."

Now, the 24-year-old might be the youngest professional bowler in Columbus.

"My dad trained me to be mentally tough," Bayt told WSYX/WTTE from Thompson's Capri Lanes where he often practices.

Bayt said, while some discouraged him, his parents supported his decision to follow his passion .

"Now that I'm successful, it's really cool to just look at [the people who doubted me] and say, 'You didn't believe me."
