Juvenile shot, injured in accidental incident near South Linden

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX) — A juvenile is in the hospital after being hit by gunshots early Saturday morning.

Police were called to the 1000 block of East 15th Avenue near the South Linden area around 3:30 a.m. on Saturday.

The juvenile victim was found shot inside of a home there. Medics took the victim to a local hospital, and authorities said the victim is expected to survive.

After investigating the scene, authorities ruled the incident to have been accidental.
