Several people are under arrest after what the Pike County Sheriff calls a drug raid in Beaver, Ohio.

But drug evidence wasn't the only thing deputies say they found. They were also surprised to discover a pet alligator hanging out in the home.

Alligators are illegal exotic pets in Ohio.

Several individuals were taken into custody during the raid, and investigators say they are questioning several more. They didn't say if they found drugs in the home.

The alligator was removed and turned over the Ohio Department of Agriculture.
