Body found in southwest Columbus

COLUMBUS (WSYX/WTTE) — The Franklin County Sheriff's Office is investigating a body found Wednesday in southwest Columbus.

A female body was found just before 2 p.m. near the intersection of Big Run Road and Gantz Road, according to spokesperson with the sheriff's office. The body was found laying between the road and a ditch area along Big Run Road.

BCI is on the scene to investigate.
