COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX/WTTE) — Columbus Police have released surveillance images from Friday's robbery of a Brink's truck at an east side Chase branch.
Police are searching for two men and a woman accused of the robbery.
According to police, the armed robbery happened around 10:30 a.m. at the Chase Bank on the 2400 block of S. Hamilton Road. Police said the three people got away in a gray car.
Folks who work near the Chase bank say they are on edge, but they admit, they are always on edge. Tyler Norris works at a store, buying and selling video games. He said a number of business in the area have been hit in the last two years since he's worked there.
"You don't get used to it. You just aren't shocked it happens," he said.
The Brink's company declined to comment. Police have released no description of the three robbers.
Police said the accused robbers put a gun to the head of the truck driver when he pulled up to service the ATM and robbed him. They are believed to have used at least a shotgun and a handgun.
The accused robbers took the money the driver was using to fill the Chase ATM. The amount has not been disclosed.
The driver was not physically injured.
