1 person killed in southeast Columbus shooting

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX/WTTE) — Police say one person has died in a shooting in southeast Columbus.

The shooting happened around 4:25 p.m. Monday at 1181 Lockbourne Road.

When officers arrived at the scene, they located Maurice Anderson, 23, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. He was taken to Grant Medical Center in critical condition, but did not survive.

Columbus Police are continuing to investigate the shooting.
