This Wednesday is Veterans Day, a time to honor the men and women in our country that have served. And it's because of those men and women who put their lives on the line, that make up our country today.

While most parades are canceled this year because of the pandemic, it hasn't stopped all of the celebrations.

On Wednesday, the National Veterans Memorial and Museum is hosting an online ceremony with special messages and remarks from Montel Williams, a US Navy veteran. Check out the museum's website for details.

Gahanna is also 'Saluting Those Who Served' with a pre-recorded tribute. The video will be released on the Gahanna Vets Facebook page on Veterans Day.

In Westerville, the city's annual veteran's day breakfast will be a drive-thru event. It's at the Westerville community center on Cleveland Avenue and starts at 8:30 am.

And in Dublin, the city is encouraging visitors to walk through the 'Grounds of Remembrance' at Dublin Veterans Park in downtown Dublin.

But if you can't visit the park or watch one of the Veterans Day videos, an easy way to salute our veterans and show support is to hang the American flag or simply by telling a veteran 'Thank you for your service."
