Robbery at Family Dollar under investigation in east Columbus

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX/WTTE) — Columbus Police are looking for a man they say robbed a Family Dollar in east Columbus.

Investigators say it happened at the store in the 3500 block of Livingston Avenue around noon Monday.

Police say the man tried to buy something, but pulled out a gun and demanded money from a clerk. The clerk gave him some cash and the man ran away.

According to police, the man is in his 30’s, approximately 6-feet tall and weighs 250 pounds. He was wearing a black hoodie, a white cloth mask, and black pants.
