COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX/WTTE) — A family in North Columbus has been forced out of their home after it caught fire Wednesday.

Firefighters were dispatched to Hillsdale Drive, near 1-71 and Cooke Road.

Investigators say a car caught fire in the detached garage and spread to the house.

The family of four made it out safely.
