Flood water rescue caught on camera in Lancaster

A Lancaster man was trapped after flood waters collapsed his basement Wednesday morning.

The man was unable to escape after flood waters began pouring into his home because of a broken foot.

Fortunately, first responders were able to find the trapped man. They put him on a raft to pull him to safety.

Flooding continued to remain a major concern across Central Ohio. Several roadways were impacted including US-23 at I-270 on the south side.

Authorities say not to attempt to drive through flood waters if encountered. The water may be deeper than it appears.
