COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX) — Meet Squirtle and Lua from the Franklin County Dog Shelter and Adoption Center! Both pups are looking for their fur-ever homes.
Squirtle
This adorable little guy is 2-year-old miniature poodle. He is super tiny and super sweet!
He came to the shelter as a stray.
Squirtle is calm and gentle. He will gladly chill with you on your lap at any time.
Any family would be a great fit for Squirtle.
Lua
Shelter workers believe this little pup is a chipin, which is a chihuahua and min pin mix. She is estimated to be about one year old and is the sweetest girl!
She was also brought to the shelter as a stray.
Lua is full of personality and is very smart. She loves playing and being around other people. This pup is also full of personality and spunk.
Lua is very treat motivated and will gladly accept treats at anytime. She would be a great fit for any family!
The Franklin County Dog Shelter and Adoption Center is hosting a very exciting event next Saturday, June 3. The 'Fur The Love of Football' event will be co hosted by Ohio State linebacker Steel Chambers.
This family, friendly event will be held outside at the shelter from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The event will also feature crafts, vendors, giveaways, outdoor games, food trucks, adoption day specials, and activities for the whole family..
Chambers is excited to meet the community and raise awareness for adopting animals!
