'Hot Mikey's Takeover' back for fourth year to benefit Columbus Diaper Bank

    Back by popular demand, Hot Chicken Takeover and Mikey's Late Night Slice's popular collaboration, "Hot Mikey's Takeover" pizza.

    The pizza returns Feb. 11 for its fourth year. For every dollar spent on the pizza, Hot Chicken Takeover and Mikey's Late Night Slice will donate a diaper to the Columbus Diaper Bank.

    “We’re grateful for the opportunity to collaborate with our friends at Late Night Slice,” shared Hot Chicken Takeover Founder, Joe DeLoss. “Combining our communities and creating impact together is something that is meaningful for both our team and our customers. We look forward to Hot Mikey’s Takeover every year and have something special planned for year four.”

    The collaboration pizza debuted in 2016 as a celebration of the Columbus staples.

    “Our annual collaboration with Hot Chicken Takeover is one of my favorite times of the year,” said Mikey Sorboro, Late Night Slice Founder and CEO. “We have a lot of fun with it. But this year, we’ve got some excitement planned for fans of both."

    A sneak preview event will be held Saturday Feb 9. at the new Mikey's location across the street from the Columbus Convention Center. Tickets for that event cost $25 and include all-you-can-eat pizza and drink tickets for beer from North High Brewing. Tickets can be purchased online here.

    The collaboration pizza will be available at all four Mikey’s Late Night Slice locations, as well as through third party delivery services from Monday Feb. 11 to Sunday Feb. 17.
