GRANDVIEW HEIGHTS, Ohio (WSYX/WTTE) -- We introduced you to Alex and Lindsay Remley’s Re:Work Furnishings in 2015. They were working out of their 400-square-foot home garage and had just launched a Kickstarter campaign to raise money for a new space. That successful campaign enabled a move into a 2,000-square-foot space.
Now, they’ve just relocated into a 10,000-square-foot space in Grandview Heights with a team 10 strong.
Re:Work Furnishings creates custom décor—from tables and barn doors to wall coverings and retail fixtures—for individuals and corporate partners including Homage, Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams, Abercrombie & Fitch, Giant Eagle, Watershed Kitchen & Bar, Brewdog, Watershed, Acre and others. Their pieces also are sold at retail stores around the country, from gift boutiques to West Elm. All items are crafted from reclaimed Ohio barn wood or locally sourced virgin wood.
The brand-new space opens to the public Friday.
