Hilliard police are asking for the public to help in identifying a man who led officers on a police chase on September 4th with stolen plates.

According to a post on the departments Facebook page, "officers initiated a traffic stop on Cemetery Road near Speedway. This man was driving a sliver Nissan Altima, ignored the flashing lights and sirens and continued onto I-270 where he weaved through traffic, reaching speeds of more than 90 mph.”

Officers ended the chase for safety reasons.

The suspect is described as a black male, between the age of 25-35, with braids. Officers observed a white female with blonde hair in the passenger seat.

Anyone with information on the identity of the suspect is asked to call Ofc. Zellers at jzellers@hilliardohio.gov or (614)33-2477.
