Manhunt for "dangerous" inmate who escaped in Ohio

Authorities say they are searching for an escaped inmate they consider dangerous.

Brandon Powell, 32, escaped custody Friday afternoon northeast of Paulding. According to reports from WANE, Powell overpowered a deputy and took his gun while he was being transported to the jail from the Northwest Ohio Psychiatric Hospital in Toledo.

The Sheriff's Office says Powell was wearing blue jeans, a dingy white and brown t shirt, a brown sweatshirt, and wearing white tennis shoes. He is approximately 6 ft tall and 155 pounds.

If you think you see him, they urge you to call 911 and say you should not try to approach him.
