It's going to be a busy day for Buckeyes head football coach Ryan Day next weekend, but not just because of the Spring Game.

Day boarded his first ever Buckeye Cruise for Cancer in February.

There were several events, raffles and auctions on the cruise including the opportunity to win a private concert by North to Nashville. That prize caught Day's eye.

During auction night, Day bid and won North to Nashville as an auction prize and then donated it back to the Buckeye Cruise. This would turn it into a concert for the public where all the money raised would be going towards local charities including the Buckeye Cruise.

"It's always cool when you know, you go from a private show to maybe in front of 100 people to blowing it up to about 800 to 1,000 people," said North to Nashville member Evan Blankenship. "Ryan Day purchasing our auction package was huge for us. We're really blessed and thankful."

The concert will take place Saturday, April 15 at the Woody Hayes Athletic Center following the OSU Spring Game.

VIP doors open at 7 p.m., regular admission doors open at 8 p.m. with the concert beginning at 9 p.m.

Those who attend will have the opportunity to take part in raffles, silent auctions and other fundraisers. The proceeds will go towards a variety of things, including OSU's James Cancer Hospital.

"We're all here for the same reason, to find a cure for cancer at Ohio State," said Luc Nutter from Event Buddy.
