Ohio State offering free tickets to federal employees during shutdown

    COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX/WTTE) - Ohio State announced Friday that federal employees will be able to receive free tickets to athletic events.

    The first event is the men's basketball game against Maryland on Jan. 18 at 6:30 p.m.

    Other sports being offered include: women's basketball, men's ice hockey, wrestling, women's gymnastics, and men's lacrosse.

    Should the shutdown continue into football season, those games would not be part of the offer.
