Person killed after collision in Licking County


A person is dead after a collision near Johnstown Thursday morning.

The collision happened near the intersection of Johnstown Utica Road and Beech Road Northwest before 6 a.m.

The Granville Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol said two cars were involved, one person was killed.

The identity of the persons involved have yet to be released. The collision remained under investigation.

The intersection remained closed as of 7 a.m.

Last August, a motorcyclist was killed at the same intersection.

OSHP said 51-year-old Nicholas Ehrhardt of Johnstown was killed August 25, 1017 after he was hit by a car.
