Picktown Palooza returning in July 2021 after 1-year hiatus

After last year's event was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Picktown Palooza will be back in Pickerington for a fourth year.

The three-day event featuring entertainment and activities for the whole family will be held from Thursday, July 15 to Saturday, July 17.

The event will include carnival rides, food, a beer garden, local musicians, bands, and local businesses that will be able to display their wares in the Business Showcase.

Each night during the event, musical acts will take the stage. Opening acts will perform each night ahead of the following headliners.

  • July 15 - 90's House Party with performances by All-4-One, Color Me Badd, and C&C Musci Factory
  • July 16 - David Lee Murphy
  • July 17 - Jack Russel's Great White and Firehouse

Other highlights of the 2021 Picktown Palooza include:

  • Kid's corner - games and activities for children 12 and younger.
  • July 4 - Freedom 5K and Kids' Fun Run: Participants winding their way through the Pickerington High School North Cross Country Course.
  • July 17- Car and Bike show: The show will be held in the parking lot next to the Picktown Palooza grounds and is free to attend.

The 2021 Picktown Palooza will also include a new interactive experience from sponsor Carvana featuring racing legend Jimmie Johnson's activation. Guests can take a spin in the 360-degree booth, shake the car vending machine for a special prize, and more.

Admission to Picktown Palooza will be $5 per person each day when purchased at the gate. Children 12 and under a free. Three-day discounted passes will be sold online for $10 per person.

Organizers of Picktown Palooza are also looking for volunteers to help with the event. They will be working with area churches, non-profits, and other local groups to recruit volunteers and any groups interested in helping can call 614-376-2099.
