Columbus Police have released the names of the two Ohio State students who died after a reported drug-related incident near campus last week.

On Monday, police said 21-year-old Tiffany Iler and 22-year-old Jessica Lopez died from an apparent overdose.

A third student, who was 21 years old, was also found in the home on East Lane Avenue.

Police said that student was treated and released from the hospital.

According to a release from the Ohio State University, Lopez was a Computer and Information Science student from Greendale, Indiana. Iler was a Neuroscience student from Broadview Heights.

"We are heartbroken and extend our deepest sympathies to their families and friends during this extremely difficult time," the university said in a statement.

Counseling services are available for students in need by calling (614)-292-5766.

Investigators are looking into if the students died after taking Adderall laced with fentanyl.

On Wednesday, May 4 police responded to a duplex on Lane Avenue where three people appeared to be overdosing, according to police.

The university announced on Thursday that one student had died, another was in critical condition and a third student had been released from the hospital.
