COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX) — Columbus Police have released the names of the two Ohio State students who died after a reported drug-related incident near campus last week.

A third student, who was 21 years old, was also found in the home on East Lane Avenue.
Police said that student was treated and released from the hospital.
According to a release from the Ohio State University, Lopez was a Computer and Information Science student from Greendale, Indiana. Iler was a Neuroscience student from Broadview Heights.

The university announced on Thursday that one student had died, another was in critical condition and a third student had been released from the hospital.
On Friday, OSU President Kristina Johnson released a new statement where she said a second student had died.
"It is with an incredibly heavy heart that I share that our second student who was hospitalized in critical condition has passed away. Every Buckeye loss is heartbreaking, and these tragic deaths in our community in such a short period of time are devastating," Johnson said.
