Around 2,000 people gathered Saturday at the Ohio Statehouse in Downtown Columbus for the March on Science.

This was one of many marches nationwide.

People of all ages marched through the streets of Columbus, starting on High Street, carrying signs.

The marchers say they want science to be a key part of policy making at all levels of government. Supporters also say they want to see STEM education supported in schools and Central Ohio's ecosystem protected.
