The Cincinnati Enquirer reported that Ohio Supreme Court Justice Bill O'Neill says he will resign from the top court to run for governor.

O'Neill made headlines last month after posting details about his sexual endeavors on his Facebook page.

The post was later removed, but it was up long enough to send shockwaves across the state.

The Enquirer said O'Neill will announce a resignation date this Friday.

O'Neill has been a member of Ohio's top court since January 2, 2013.

ABC 6/FOX 28 has reached out to his office for more details on his reported resignation, the Ohio Supreme Court couldn't comment on the report.
